Dieter Ruloff is Professor of International Relations and since 2000 director of the Institute of Political Science at the University of Zurich.

In his work he deals with logical scientific and methodological problems of political science and classical themes of international relations. By the end of the Cold War was on issues of East-West relations, arms control and the causes of war the focus of his research, then include international trade, international environmental policy and Swiss foreign policy.
